What My Art is About

I could say I paint what I see. Or – some of the most beautiful things that I see. I like movement, air, character, and nature. Often it happens to be right near the people, carrying traces and signs of people’s life. I paint cities a lot too.

I like it when I manage to show life and soul and hidden sense of meaning in objects and scenes. I call it “portrait of the Earth”. And there is always a possibility for changes, of course. Right now I am thinking of making people and animals appear more often in my works. And so – I have to find a proper place and message for them 🙂

About Me

I am a global – local artist. That is, I am global, in sense that I change places frequently and when I look at things I try always to remember that there are other points of view and other ways of reflection possible.

And I am local at each place where I stay, that is I seek to live the life with people around me and get in touch with the surroundings, feel at home, and be a part of the life there. This is true for the places where I stay longer – certainly when I come just for a few days, I am still a guest. But I try to be a considerate, thoughtful, and interested guest.

Apart from practicing my art, I help people plan their websites and pages to get their marketing message across, consult on inbound marketing approach, and help aspiring businesses and non-profits, especially those in arts, innovations, or urban development, with ideas and planning for their marketing campaigns .

And yes, I do say “hello” and “good bye” to cities, rivers, and trees 🙂

Send me a message

I do sell it! I believe my artworks will be much better going to people than sitting in my desk.

I also want them to be in good hands since I put my heart and soul in each of them. It might be a public place where many people pass by and see. Or just a room of someone who admires the piece. The important thing is that you take care of it and it can be seen and enjoyed!

I’d love to hear back from you how you liked the work when you received it, what place it took in your home/office, or maybe you can even send me a photo… Enjoy it!

Places in my artworks: Dalat

Dalat is a mountain town in Central Vietnam (or one could say even “city” – it’s rather big). It’s quite a touristic place, in its central part, but quiet and homely in the outskirts. Once you get Read more…

How I make my art – part II

– First part of the story is here… – In many of my more recent works I used a “combined” approach: I started painting from life a thing that grabbed my attention, created a general Read more…
