What this blog is about – welcoming post

Hey lovely reader! Here in this post I am going to give you some outline of what you can expect to find in this my blog.

First of all, there will be a lot of pictures of my art: my paintings and drawing that I make everywhere on the Earth where I happen to be. And maybe other things, whatever I will come up with, art-wise. Some of recent examples you can see here (and more of them on my main page https://arts.sofie-chi.com )

I love doing art myself – but I also like exploring the art of others: observing, trying to capture the message a person who created it has put in it, trying to get the local flavor (or flavors) of the art in the places where I am.

Another thing that interests me a lot is finding the sense of art. There must be some important meaning in what so many people do (including me) and what people have been doing with such a devotion throughout all their history!

So, here I will be sharing with you beautiful or interesting things that I see and my thoughts and thoughts of others that, in my view, are worth discussion. I will be thrilled to get your feedback!

And sometimes I might post just casual notes about life and everything 😃
